Q: What services do you offer?
A: Many nonprofit consultants focus on specific areas of need, such as long range planning, tactical planning or grant writing. We have found that many nonprofits who are in start-up mode or at a stage for significant growth need a comprehensive package of services that identify needs, prioritize those needs, and develop a roadmap on how to get there. As a result, our list of services is comprehensive, encompassing all areas of planning to get you from visions and dreams to the execution of your plans. These services include:
- Strategic Planning
- Business Plan creation
- Design Thinking (including architectural programming, schematic design and space planning)
- Program Development
- Fund Procurement strategizing
- Collaboration Development
Q: That’s a pretty broad group of services. Why should we look at human resources, funding, program development, capital improvements and design all at one time?
A: The growth you are planning is typically not in one single area; it will occur across many program areas, areas of service, targeted populations, funding priorities and tangible physical assets. All of this needs to be carefully planned as you look at your organization’s needs, the ability to provide for those needs, and the funding to make that happen. You need a 50,000 foot view of where you are going as well as the tactical plan to get there. Ultimately, that plan includes your carefully planned mission, people (who work for you and the ones that you serve), dollars, tangible assets and physical property. Our unique blend of strategic planning, fund procurement, plan and service development and architectural design allows you see the 50,000 foot view and then develop the specifics.
